Robin Whaite
Robin is Chair of the Board and joined as a trustee in 2008 when the charity was founded to provide governance, and organisation oversight. As a lawyer Robin provides guidance to the team, and more broadly supports the incredible team of UK trustees and volunteers who are the heart and soul of PoACC. Becs Brocken
Becs has been a trustee since 2012 and brings expertise, supporting the fundraising, marketing and operational aspects of the foundation, drawing upon her experience leading and working non-profit organisations across the UK, Canada, and USA. Contact Becs, becs@pearlofafrica.org.uk

Liz Tonge
Liz joined PoACC as a volunteer in 2014 during the Pearl of Africa Children’s Choir Tour. With a lifetime spend in education working as a Primary School teacher Liz provides support and guidance to staff within Molly and Paul Foundation schools. Dave Tonge
Dave joined our trustee board in 2018, after volunteering for the organisation since 2014. As a retired police officer Dave brings a strong commitment to improving facilities and infrastructure in Uganda and connecting PoACC to new supporters through his work with Rotary and as a natural community leader. Leonie Bell
Leonie is our National Tour Coordinator, and Deputy Safeguarding Officer. Drawing upon her previous experience working for a leading UK children’s charity Leonie ensures that we remain vigilant in ensuring we maintain the high standards we aim for in child protection both in the UK and Uganda. Leonie is also a regular visitor to Uganda where she enjoys working alongside the Headteachers in Kampala based schools as well as the staff in Kamuzinda schools.   Contact Leonie, leonie@pearlofafrica.org.uk

Jenny Griffiths

Jenny is the Deputy Headteacher of Richard Lander School in Cornwall and has lead responsibility for maintaining the school’s links with the Molly and Paul Childcare Foundation.  Jenny has lead oversight of in-school fundraising and managing the annual school visit which sees Richard lander School students volunteering for 3 weeks in the Molly and Paul schools in Uganda.  Contact Jenny, jenny@pearlofafrica.org.uk
